Have you ever had a weird thing happen in your body that you did not understand?

I did. And boy, am I glad it happened. And then, even more glad it is now gone.

I had a strange pain in my side, kinda where a side stitch happens. It came on suddenly and was extremely painful.  It seemed to happen when I was wearing a tight waistband, and at first, I thought it was when I was exercising. So, I thought it was a very strong side stitch. Eventually I figured out-mainly because the pain was so intense, that if I laid down on my side, it completely went away. That was ok unless I was driving or riding a horse.

I mentioned it to my doctor, and he said it was a side stitch, and it was no big deal. But, stay hydrated and make sure to get electrolytes.  Seemed reasonable.

So….. that wasn’t it. Oh well. Compared to all the other messes in my life, this pain was just not that big of a deal.

Then, I read Liz James’ book “Becoming Your Own Health Detective”!💡

What!? My gallbladder was full of yuck!  I was a ticking time bomb, and my body was trying to tell me. Who knows what would have happened down the road if I had not read her book?!!!

But I did.

Our gallbladder is the back-up organ for the liver, so if your gallbladder is upset…the liver is not happy either. (OK…read Liz’s book and blog to get all the technical details. I am just telling my story).

I ordered Young Living’s GLF (Gallbladder Liver Flush) essential oil blend right away. The week it arrived, the pain showed up. Since the spells did not occur regularly, I had not started the protocol. So I just poured it on the painful spot and rubbed it in. Presto! Gone! I did not even lie down. It just left! Amazing!

You better believe I immediately began using it as directed. I also implemented some minor dietary changes to give my liver what it needs to remain healthy.

Since the first day, I have had no gallbladder pain. It has been over 8 months now! The longest time in over 20 years without this weird pain.

What’s your weird thing? Probably something that goes away right before you have your doctor’s appointment. Or, if it’s not blood pressure, fever, lung gunk, or reflex problems, more than likely….you won’t get much help.

I am glad I now have such a great resource for my own detective work!🔎
